Every mole is checked first

What happens at your visit
- The growth is examined, and you are told whether it can be removed here and what to expect afterwards, including any small mark it may leave.

- A dressing or ointment is applied and you are given aftercare instructions.

Healing and aftercare
- A small scab forms and usually falls off on its own within one to two weeks. Do not pick it.
- Keep the area clean and dry, and apply the ointment as advised.
- Protect the spot from the sun while it heals, so the mark fades evenly.
- Call the clinic if the area becomes very red, swollen or painful.
