Everything the clinic does, and what each one involves

Seven dental treatments and three for the skin, all at Baani Square. Each one below says what it is for, what is included and the part people usually find out too late. If what you need is not here, message the clinic and ask.

Dentistry

Dental implants

An implant replaces a missing tooth root with a titanium post, and a crown goes on top of it. It is fixed, it is cleaned like a normal tooth, and it does not ask the neighbouring teeth to carry a bridge. Dr Toshika plans every case from an X-ray first, so you know how many visits it will take before you agree to it.

  • Single tooth implant with a zirconia or ceramic crown
  • Multiple implants where several teeth are missing
  • Full-arch replacement for an entirely missing upper or lower set
  • Bone grafting when the jaw needs building up first
  • Implant-supported dentures that clip in instead of sitting loose

Healing takes a few months between the post and the crown. That wait is part of the plan, not a delay.

Dentistry

Clear aligners

A series of clear, removable trays that move teeth a little at a time. Nobody sees them, you take them out to eat, and the plan is mapped before the first tray is made, so you can see where the teeth are going to end up.

  • Crowding and overlapping front teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Mild and moderate bite corrections
  • Relapse after braces worn years ago
  • Retainers once the movement is finished

Aligners only work while they are in. They need about twenty-two hours a day, which suits some people and not others, and the dentist will say which you are.

Dentistry

Braces

Fixed braces still move teeth that aligners cannot, and they do not depend on remembering to wear them. Metal and ceramic are both available, and the choice is usually about how visible you want them to be.

  • Metal braces
  • Ceramic braces, tooth-coloured and less visible
  • Treatment for children and teenagers at the right age
  • Correction of crowding, gaps, overbite and underbite
  • Retainers after the braces come off

A first appointment is usually a look and an X-ray, so the dentist can say what is actually needed before anything is fitted.

Dentistry

Root canal treatment

When the nerve inside a tooth is infected or dying, a root canal takes the infection out and saves the tooth, rather than pulling it. It is the procedure people arrive most worried about, and the one the reviews here most often describe as painless.

  • Root canal on front teeth and premolars
  • Molar root canal, multi-rooted and at the back
  • Re-treatment of a root canal done elsewhere that has failed
  • A post and core to rebuild a badly broken tooth
  • The crown that goes on afterwards to stop the tooth cracking

A root-treated tooth is more brittle than a live one. The crown afterwards is not an upsell, it is what keeps the tooth.

Dentistry

Crowns and bridges

A crown caps a tooth that is broken, worn or root-treated and rebuilds its shape. A bridge fills a gap by resting on the teeth either side. Both are matched to the colour of the teeth around them.

  • Zirconia crowns, strong and tooth-coloured
  • Ceramic and porcelain crowns for front teeth
  • Bridges spanning one or more missing teeth
  • Crowns over implants
  • Recementing or replacing an old crown that has come loose

Zirconia and ceramic differ in strength and translucency. Back teeth and front teeth are usually not given the same material.

Dentistry

Teeth whitening and smile design

Whitening lifts the shade of the teeth you have. Smile design goes further, reshaping teeth with veneers or bonding so the edges, the length and the line of the smile sit properly against the rest of the face. The clinic plans both before it starts either.

  • In-clinic whitening
  • Veneers for chipped, worn or discoloured front teeth
  • Composite bonding to close a small gap or rebuild an edge
  • Reshaping uneven tooth edges
  • Gum contouring where the gum line is uneven

Whitening does not change the colour of crowns, veneers or fillings. If there is existing work in the front teeth, the plan has to account for it.

Dentistry

Children's dentistry

Children's teeth are treated at a pace that does not frighten them. The first visit is usually a look and a conversation, not a procedure, and preventive work now saves the bigger work later.

  • First dental check-up
  • Fillings in milk teeth
  • Fluoride application and pit-and-fissure sealants
  • Space maintainers when a milk tooth is lost early
  • Advice on thumb-sucking and other habits

A child's first visit is best booked before anything hurts. It sets how they feel about the dentist for years.

Skin & aesthetics

Hydrafacial with a peel

A Hydrafacial cleans, exfoliates and hydrates the skin in one sitting using a handpiece that works with suction and serums rather than scrubbing. A peel is added for skin that has gone dull, uneven or is starting to show fine lines. There is no downtime, so it fits into a normal day.

  • Deep cleanse and gentle exfoliation
  • Extraction of blocked pores
  • Hydrating serums worked into the skin
  • A peel chosen for glow, pigmentation or fine lines
  • Advice on sun protection and home care afterwards

Pigmentation and fine lines usually need a short course rather than a single session. The dentist will say how many to expect at the consultation.

Skin & aesthetics

Face GFC (collagen booster)

GFC stands for growth factor concentrate. A small amount of your own blood is drawn and processed to separate the growth factors, which are then put back into the facial skin with fine needles. The aim is to encourage the skin to make more collagen, which improves texture and firmness gradually.

  • A skin assessment and medical history first
  • A small blood sample, taken the same visit
  • Growth factors separated from the sample
  • Application to the face with fine needles, after numbing
  • A plan for the number of sessions

Results build over weeks, not overnight, and usually over two or three sessions spaced apart. It is not done during pregnancy or with some blood conditions, which is why the history comes first.

Skin & aesthetics

Wart and mole removal

Warts, moles and skin tags on the face and body can be removed in a short procedure under local numbing. The growth is looked at properly first, because not every mole should simply be removed.

  • Examination of the wart, mole or tag first
  • Local numbing before removal
  • Removal in a single short sitting for most small growths
  • Aftercare for the healing spot
  • Referral for a check if a mole looks unusual

A mole that has changed shape, colour or size, or bleeds, needs a doctor's check before anything else. The clinic will tell you if yours is one of those.

Consultation is ₹300. The dentist looks, tells you what is going on and quotes the cost before anything is started.
